Dear St. Catherine Parishioners:

Obedient to the orders of our superiors in this pandemic that has taken us by surprise, we have been in a quarantine that has forced us to close the temples for our liturgical assemblies and the adoration of the Blessed Sacrament of the altar.

Yet, this should not prevent us from prayer or from participating in the celebration of the Eucharist, especially on Sunday via any audiovisual media.

Currently St. Catherine is working on offering masses through the internet that God willing, will be coming your way soon.

Despite the quarantine, my responsibility as Pastor has not ceased. I celebrate private Holy Mass every day for the intentions written in our book, as well as for the needs of each of our parishioners; especially those who are currently experiencing difficult times.

The Holy Rosary and the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament are other ways in which I have kept you all in my thoughts and prayers. I have also accompanied parishioners who have lost loved ones due to natural deaths and give these brothers Christian burial. My words of encouragement by phone have been available to any who has called.

May God permit that; by our obedience to "be at home", our prayers and our service to others, His Divine Providence gives all of us the grace of new life and the beginning of a vibrant faith in our homes and parish community.

Please  be assured  of my prayer  and blessings for  each one of you.

P. Aurelio
